The flag, one of the last ones flown above Camp Bucca, Iraq, before the camp was closed on Dec. 29, 2010, was presented to Jessica and Eve to celebrate the life of their father/husband Ronald Paul Bucca for whom the Iraqi camp was named. Ron Bucca, an Army Special Forces veteran, military policeman and New York City Fire Marshal, was killed Sept. 11, 2001, while trying to rescue people trapped in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. The former Camp Bucca is now called the Basrah Logistics City and is a center for Iraqi industry.
