Irrigation—In addition to the large volume of water deliv-ered by the Big Horn River, running centrally through the county,its large and numerous tributaries furnish a superabundance ofwater for irrigating large bodies of land that can be gotten underditch. From the east flow Kirby, No Wood and Shell Creeks;from the west come Owl Creek and its much larger tributaries ofGrey Bull and Wood River; then the two forks of the ShoshoneRiver, and still farther to the north the Clarks Fork of the Yel-lowstone.
