THOMAS EMORY BRICKELL The well-known Oak Park real estate man whose name appearsabove is a brother of Jerome F. Brickell and has lived in Sacramentosince 1906. He was born in Niles, Mich., a son of Thomas Jefferson. After leaving school hewas for a time an assistant to his fatlier. When he was only nine-teen years old he came to California and located at Truckee, wherehe was for three and a half years manager of a general store. Erom Truckee Mr. Brickell went to Spokane, Wash., where helived twenty-tive years, variously employed, but always busy andprosperous. He operated one farm seven years and was secretaryand treasurer of the Fidelity Mortgage Com])any of Spokane tenyears. When he came to Sacramento in 1906 he hel})ed his brotherincorporate the Oak Park Realty Company. Politically he is aDemocrat and at different times in Washington and Californi
