PORT OF SUVA, Fiji (Oct. 14, 2018) Sailors man the rails on the forecastle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) while the ship pulls into the Port of Suva, Fiji for a port visit Oct. 14, 2018. Shoup is currently participating in the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) program, a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
