Non Exclusive: 03 April 2023. Sylhet-Bangladesh: Jalal Mia, a 65-year-old farmer from Uftar Haor in Sylhet's Khadim Nagar union, shows his damaged crops in his hand after blast fungus attacked his entire crop field. Due to adverse weather conditions, due to insufficient rainfall in the winter season in the country, this blast fungus disease is affecting the BRRI-28 and BRRI-29 varieties of rice and even spraying the drug has not yielded results.
