Do this exercise slowly at first, and, when perfect in bringing thelegs from over the bar as required, it should be done as if the wholewere one simultaneous movement, no pause taking place from the Fia. time the body is raised until the feet are free; therefore the wholemust be effected before the body returns in the backward swing, and,to look well, it should be done very quickly. Leg Swing Catch.—Proceed as described in the last exercise buttwo, and on the body rising sufficiently high, and just as the legs arebeing unhitched, turn the body, and, bringing it up while in theswing, grasp the bar with both hands, without allowing the feet totouch the ground. As a finish to this exercise the legs may now be again carriedbetween the arms and hitched over the bar, when, by letting go thehands, achieve the last exercise but one.
