YAUCO, Puerto Rico -- An egret takes flight over the site of an emergency levee construction project undertaken by the Army Corps of Engineers in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Nov. 6, 2017. A team of Corps engineers and support staff worked long hours in order to return the Yauco river to its original course after it burst over its banks into the Lucchetti community, destroying homes and forcing the evacuation of residents. Over 10,000 cubic meters of earth will be used to ensure the safety of the residents of Yauco. ( Army photo by Staff Sgt. Evan Lane, 65th Press Camp Headquarters)
