Portsmouth, Va. (Oct. 2, 2018) Lt. Claudia Crawford receives a certificate of completion from Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s (NMCP) Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship from Capt. Christopher Culp, NMCP’s commanding officer, and Capt. Carl Petersen, director for Mental Health. The program affords civilians who have not yet fulfilled post-degree requirements the opportunity to commission as naval officers and train to practice as psychologists in the fleet.
