The ferry Riverdance, beached at Cleveleys, on the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.
The ferry 'Riverdance' was blown ashore in the storms that battered the Lancashire coast at the end of January 2008. Initial attempts to re-float the vessel were unsuccessful, and after several weeks, with the structure weakened due to lying on the beach at an unconventional angle, the insurers wrote the ship off and it was cut up for scrap where it lay.
