Post-mortem on head wound. The dissection on the head has removed the outer tissue layers to reveal the skull. The skull has numerous fractures, all caused by a massive blow to the head. This type of injury is called blunt trauma. The impact caused immense damage to the skull and the brain beneath, resulting in death. This was photographed as part of the evidence for the inquest.
