Nearly all the varieties offered are of the easiest culture, succeeding under the most ordinary conditions. Our facilities for producing this class of stock is the most com- plete in this country, 35 of our largest housesâover three acres of greenhouse structureâbeing devoted to them alone, enabling us to supply all the leading and popular sorts at the most reasonable prices. ( The heights given are from top of pot to top of plant.) KENTIAS. The Kentias, both Belmoreana and Forsteriana, are the hardiest in cultivation, and give better satisfaction as a house plant than any other varieties. They are of slow growth, and are not affected by the dust and dry atmosphere of the house, and were we to select one Palm only, it certainly would be a Kentia. The two varieties are of similar appearance, the former being dwarfer and more spreading, and the latter is of stronger growth with broader, heavier foliage. We also offer on next page several of 'the rarer varie- ties of this beautiful genus. Kentia Belmoreana.
