Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Entomology,Washington, D. 67., December 5, : I have the honor to transmit herewith the manuscript of areport on miscellaneous cotton insects in Texas, prepared by Dwight Sanderson, entomologist of the New Hampshire CollegeAgricultural Experiment Station, formerly State entomologist ofTexas and a special agent of this Bureau cooperating in the work oninsects injurious to cotton in Texas. This report gives the detailedresults of a years work on the minor insect enemies of cotton byProfessor Sanderson and assistants, and is supplementary to investiga-tions which have been conducted by other field agents of the Bureauon the more important subjects of the cotton boll weevil and boll-worm. It contains definite records of observations on the life his-tories of numbers of species, as also data on their natural enemies.
