A turn-over flintlock pistol with four barrels,Italy(?),circa 1800. Smooth barrel group in mm calibre with muzzle sleeve. Underneath the round barrel holder(rubbed)inscribed "MOSSOCKE". Slightly engraved flintlock with roller frizzen. Reworked walnut stock with ornamentally pierced iron pommel cap and a later,continuously punched brass band. Spring-loaded trigger guard with release lever to unlock the barrels. The iron parts with minimal pitting and slightly rubbed.
