Eastbourne, Beachy Head, UK. 5th June 2019. A large number of Dakota DC3 Aircraft who had earlier gathered from around the World make their journey from Duxford airport Cambridgeshire to France to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. On board a number of the aircraft were survivors from the original D-day landings. As the aircraft passed over the Bomber Command memorial at Beachy Head the thousands who had gathered at this South Coast cliff fell silent in memory to those who fought and died to liberate Europe
