Interior of an old red British Telephone box turned into a British village eccentric lending library

An old red British Telephone box turned into a village lending library. The kiosk in the centre of Great Budworth is now being stocked up with books after the parish council bought it from British Telecom for £1. "We are going to use it as a book exchange and are hoping people drop off books." Children in the village are among those involved in the project. A three month trial period is under way to see how well the scheme works. If it is deemed a success then it will become permanent.
