En- tirely distinct from all other Roses in color; the buds are coral-red shaded with chrome-yellow, while the expanded flowers, which are very large, are of a superb shrimp-pink shaded coppery-orange and chrome yellow. Lucien Chaure (Soupert & Netting, 1914). Flesh colored, illumi- nated with clear rosy-cream, very large, form perfect. Growth vigorous, free-flowering, particularly good in the autumn. Marie Adelaide Grand Ducliess of Luxembourg (Soupert & Netting, 1913). Very distinct orange-yellow of good form, fine long buds on erect stems. As the petals unfold they become re- flexed in such a manner as to give the flowers a starlike appearance. Marquise de Ganay (Guillot, 1910). Very large, full globular flowers, on sturdy erect-growing plants; clear, bright, silvery- rose. A fine Rose that is always in bloom. Mary, Countess of Ilchester (Dickson & Sons, 1909). A warm crimson-carmine, flowers large, very double, with large, smooth, circular petals and delightfully scented; very free-flowering. Milady. A strong sturdy grower and free bloomer, with large double flowers of a rich crimson-scarlet. Mme. Abel Chatenay (Pernet-Ducher, 189-5). Carmine- rose with salmon shadings; long pointed buds and double flowers, a strong grower, very free-flowering, and a favorite bedding variety. Mme. Edmee Metz (Soupert & Netting, 1901). A large, full double flower of elegant form of a rosy-carmine shaded salmon, a splendid bedding variety. Mme. Edmond Rostand (Pernet-Ducher, 1913). This beautiful Rose is one of our favorites, and might be called an improvement on Prince de Bulgarie, being of more vigorous growth and warmercolor- ing; a pleasing, soft, delicate flesh shaded with salmon, and reddish orange-yellow centre, from which it varies considerably under various atmospheric conditions, but it is always beautiful;
