Brig-ht carmine on the edg-es of outside petals, changing- to China rose towards the middle and becoming gradually straw color at the base; reverse of petals flesh color, shaded sulphur yellow. Mad. Pelissier. A most beautiful yellow bedder; broad, creamy outer petals, deepening to fine yellow in the center. Petals very large and shell shaped. Mile. C. Perreau. A seedling from Souvenir d'un Ami, but of larger size and better form than its parent; of a vigorous habit, and productive, the equal of any rose of the year. Color of flower bright rose, with a silvery shade, with magnifi- cently shaped flowers; comes well recommended. Madame Caroline Kuster. Beautiful or- ange yellow, clear and distinct, fine full form, large and very double, highly perfumed; very desirable. Mrs. Pierpont Morgan. This new Tea has been pronounced one of the finest roses ever intro- duced. It is a sport from Madame Cusin, but it is much more robust and free blooming, with flowers and foliage much larger than that variety. The long stemmed buds and flowers are elegantly shaped, fragrant and of fine substance ; color in- tense bright cerise or rose pink. Ophelia. Pure snow white, large size, very full and double ; tea scented ; an excellent sort. This magnificent white variety is always pure white, even in the hottest summer weather. Queen's Scarlet. This is without doubt the very best of all red roses for bedding. It can be planted anywhere, being entirely hardy. The flowers are of large size and of a fiery scarlet, a color seldom seen in roses ; a bed of this rose pro- duces a mass of red equal to a bed of geraniums. It is
