Army soldiers and members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force participate in the Howard's Medical Supply Army Base Half-Marathon, 5k run and walk to benefit Cottage in the Meadows with Memorial Hospice and the Wounded Warriors Foundation, Sept. 22, 2014. Most of the soldiers and all of the Japanese participants are a part of Operation Rising Thunder at Yakima Training Center, Wash.
