Corundum, PJdUips. : commonly occurs crystallizedin six-sided prisms, which rarely exhibit, atendency to flat triedral terminations; alsoin obtuse and acute hexahedral is likewise found granular or nearly colourless and slighthtranslucent, but more frequently with agreyish, greenish or reddish tint, or brownwith a chatoyant lustre.
