In the type of this species (number 1229), the nasal protuberances are small, but prominent, and are directed strongly upward. The nasal bones are completely united to the end, but are there terminated by sutural surfaces, looking nearly downward, and indicating the position of the prenasal bones, Avliich have fallen away.
