Refurbished in 1993 and allocated to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight this aircraft built at Long Beach California in 1942 is still a year round work horse. The plane served with the United States Army Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force before ownership by the Royal Air Force (UK) where it was piloted by a number of different nationals.
