Fibrolipoma of the spine. Coloured magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of a sagittal section through the thoraco-lumbar spine of a 19-month-old patient, showing a fibrolipoma in the filum terminale at the end of the spinal cord canal. Neural fibrolipoma is an overgrowth of fibrous-fatty tissue along a nerve trunk that often leads to nerve compression.
