The windows of a blue worker's hut are left open. Tea pickers from abroad are given accommodation on Malaysian tea estates. Malaysia's tea estates are located in the Cameron Highlands, near to the town of Tanah Rata. The tea is not exported in large quantity because not enough tea is produced to meet domestic demand. Tea pickers are often imported, on contract, from locations such as Nepal and northern India.
