The Leo Niessen Co. reports the ar- rival of pink chrysanthemums, the first of the season. The Philadelphia Wholesale Florists' Exchange, J. Duetscher and C. Glazer, proprietors, will be strong on orchids. They have a number of good growers on their list. Two iceboxes, one inside the store, 5x9x8, and another outside, in the rear, will be installed. William Swayne, of Kennett Square, will commence shipping chrysanthe- mums to William J. Baker this week. J. J. Habermehl's Sons have put two new delivery cars into commission for the Bellevue-Stratford. Haymond Brunswick says that the M. Eice Co. will soon be working overtime. Clarence W. Moore reports the arrival of his company's final shipment of Dutch bulbs, in excellent condition. Joseph G. Neidinger has perfected an attractive chrysanthemum basket. J. A. Smith has been selected to act as judge at the annual fall show of the Merchantville Horticultural Society, October 1, at Merchantville, N. J. The Henry F. Michell Co. had an ex- cellent display of perennials from its nurseries at Andalusia at the annual fall show of the Ridley Park Civic As- sociation, Ridley Park, Pa., September 24. Frank B. Michell was in charge of the exhibit. The company awarded a large number of prizes to those who exhibited at the show in its store last- week. There were no trade exhibitors, the display coming from private gar- deners and amateurs. Wm. Robertson took more prizes than anyone else. William P
