Trans-planting, how-ever, is alwayssurer than sowing,and is thereforepreferred. Thismay be done fromMarch till distance be-t\veen the plantsshould not gener-ally be less thanten or fifteeninches. Stirringthe earth ahout theroots from timeto time is useful;but having oncetaken root, no fur-ther care is neces-sary.
