Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, is a free public city park that is also a registered National Natural Landmark. It is the most visited site in the Pikes Peak area, and covers more than 1300 acres. The Visitor & Nature Center includes an exhibit featuring the only-known specimen of a unique dinosaur that was found in Garden of the Gods. - theiophytalia kerri. The Visitor Center is also the starting point for the annual Bighorn Sheep Day in February. There are 15 miles of trails looping through this beautiful park, allowing opportunities to view the prominent towers of Lyons formation sandstone, as well as multiple other geologic features. The tallest spires and fins are about 300 feet high.
