DelpMnus, the Dolphin, is astriking little constellation north-east of Aquila, recog-nized by four stars in the form of a lozenge. It is famil-iarly called ^Jobs Coffin. In this position of the celestial sphere three new zodia-cal constellations have , the Scorpion,already mentioned, now twohours west of the meridian,and about 30° above thehorizon, is quite a brilliantconstellation. It contains An-tares, or a Scorpii, a red-dish star of nearly the firstmagnitude
