Itsfloor shows no granulations, and is either smooth and glistening or foul andliver colored. The discharge is thin and scanty, and the ulcer varies little inappearance from week to week or even from month to month. The treatmentconsists in scraping and cauterizing the ulcer; making radiating incisionsthrough the margins and floor or elliptical incisions about the ulcer; applyingantiseptic dressings and firm bandages. In some cases the ulcer should bestrapped. A daily baking in the hot-air oven is often of great severe cases it is necessary to extirpate the ulcer and apply skin-grafts. Hemorrhagic
