Botevgrad (pre-1934 Orhanie; pre-1866: Samundzhievo), is a town in western Bulgaria. It is located in Sofia Province. Botevgrad is situated at a 47 km distance from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The characteristic clock tower in the centre of the town is arguably its most recognizable symbol.
