The recently restored Tyne Lifeboat South Shields north east England UK March 2014


Tyne is Britain's second oldest preserved lifeboat, being built in 1833 and serving until 1884 when she was given to South Shields Corporation for permanent display. Both the lifeboat and the protective canopy had recently been restored in 2014.
