Navy Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class David Hill-Destefano, from Yonkers, New York, uses a needle gun during deck preservation aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) in the Gulf of Aden, Feb. 12, 2019. Chung-Hoon is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
