Painted large initials in various colors appear occasionally; also painted border designs. Very pale yellow daubs as placemarkers. 22 lines in 2 columns, ruled in very light pencil and in drypoint. Prickings and catchwords visible. One folio (part 1, perhaps was formerly large sheet serving as cover of first quire) followed by six quires of 10 folios each and one quire of 12. Inscribed Date: 1381, December 29 On f. 73v dated 29 December 1381. Opening initial shows two human figures; f. 11v initial with animal head.
