A shrunken head, 20th century Meticulously cut dark-brown hair, bushy unibrow and trimmed, full moustache and goatee. The back of the head with a long incision to allow the removal of the skull, sewn with a leather strap in the same way as the neck opening. The top of the head with a braided suspension strap. Height 17 cm. The external features of this shrunken head indicate that the person did not belong to an ethnic group indigenous to the Amazon Basin.
