London Southend Airport, Essex, UK. 30th March, 2020. Having announced that they will be grounding all of their aircraft due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic easyJet today flew around fifteen of their airliners to London Southend Airport for storage. The airport already has stored jets from Ryanair, British Airways, Titan and others. easyJet have been carrying out repatriation flights during the lockdown period but these have now ceased. The first three aircraft came from Newcastle with others arriving from Edinburgh and Glasgow
