Erupting Mount Tarawera on New Zealand's North Island created at 10 June 1886 the 17 kilometers long Waimangu Volcanic Rift Valley. It is now the youngest geothermal ecosystem with a wide variety of volcanic features like the 55 Celsius hot Frying Pan Lake. Der Ausbruch des Tarawera-Vulkans am 10. Juni 1886 schuf auf der Nordinsel Neuseelands das Waimangu-Vulkantal.
