Ruins of ancient Scottish coastal promontory fort ( Dun ) at Rubha an Dunain headland, Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK. This interesting area is also believed to be the location of an ancient Viking harbour, quay and shipbuilding site dating from the 12th century featuring a man-made channel from a small inland loch which links to the sea at high tide. The loch would provide a sheltered mooring for small boats and ships.
