"Tempest Turner," an 18th Bomb Squadron B-17, was named for movie actress Lana Turner. Lester E. Thompson, pilot of the aircraft, painted this B-15 jacket at war's end with the emblem of the 34th Bomb Group and counters to indicate 19 bombing missions.
