Bituminous Surface Improvement of 90. Original caption: Louisiana Project F-201(12), Orleans Parish - US 90, Chef Menteur Bridge to Rigolets Bridge. US 90, in the northeastern section of Orleans Parish, between the Chef Menteur and the Rigolets Bridges (formerly an 8"-6"-6" concrete pavement, 20 feet wide) has been improved into a modern 26-foot bituminous surfaced roadway on a 60-foot embankment. The pavement was widened three feet on either side and covered with a 3 1/2 inch hot pre-mix bituminous wearing course. State: Louisiana.
