The man was Tasered after three-hour standoff with armed police in Chichester this evening(Sunday). The man, who was armed with a siver gun was sat on a bench in the middle of the shopping precinct near Boots the Chemist at around Worried drinkers raised the alarm and police rushed to the scene throwing up cordon are the city and more people to a safe distance. The man was Tasered after three-hour standoff with armed police in Chichester this evening(Sunday). The man,who was armed with a siver gun was sat on a bench in the middle of the shopping precinct near Boots the Chemist at around Worried drinkers raised the alarm and police rushed to the scene throwing up cordon are the city and more people to a safe distance. Armed Police officers were then involved in a tense three-hour standoff with the man before they fire a taser at him. A fire arm was recovered at the scene. A West Sussex Police spokesman said: “A Taser was discharged by officer No one was injured and a man in his 40s was arrested by Police for possession of a firearm.". ©UKNIP
