Barty Crusoe and his man Saturday . [lOl] got there. They were blown from thetrees and bushes, and when Barty bentdown and peeped into the hole he sawthat it was full of leaves which had beenblowing in there for years until the tinycave seemed almost stuffed with rain could reach them and so theywere quite nice and dry. The hole was too small for Barty tocrawl into, but it was more than largeenough for Man Saturday, and chatteringto Barty as fast as he could he crawled inand began to put together another got the twigs from a bush close by.
