Monument to Belarusian humanist Francysk Skaryna designed by Belarusian sculptor Eduard Astafiev (1996) in Hradčany district in Prague, Czech Republic. The monument is installed in the area where Francysk Skaryna probably worked in the Royal Botanical Garden as a royal botanist in 1535-1539. The Biblia Ruska printed by Francysk Skaryna in Prague in 1517-1519 was the first printed Bible in Old East Slavic language and the second printed book in the Slavic world.
