A pallash for a Dragoon, from the reign of Grand Duke Leopold 1830 - 1852. A single-edged blade with fullers and a double-edged point. The Baden coat of arms is etched on the reverse side and the crowned cipher "L" on the obverse side. The brass knucklebow hilt is the version for around 1780 with two obverse side guard bars. Leather grip cover with brass wire winding. Leather scabbard with three brass fittings (loose) and an iron chape.
