This stock has been so well bred that the carrots are almost duplicates of each other. It is very productive, smooth, and of fine texture. Medium early, and a very good market carrot. LARGE WHITE BELGIAN. A very productive field variety. Grows about one-third out of the ground, and is easily gathered; grown largely for stock. A valuable variety, of rich, dark orange color, very smooth, and hand- some, in form midway between the Long Or- ange and the Early Horn, and very productive, twenty to thirty tons per acre.
