I cannot see what goodit does to children under six years of age to go. to church at all. I think they are much betteroff at home. If parents wish them to learn thehabit of going, is not six or seven years of agesoon enough to begin? If there is no properperson to stay with Baby, cannot the father andmother take turns in staying with him? Somepeople think the restraint is good for children,and I believe it is well for them to be quietsometimes, but to require them to keep still anddo nothing for two hours is asking altogether toomuch, I think. I do not blame the poor littlethings one bit for being restless and full of mis-chief.
