We have made arrangements with Mr. Sievers for a part of the stock, and will send out young plants of it with our own March I. You can depend upon its be- ing one of the very finest, most distinct and servicable novelties of the year. A delightful surprise for those who have not seen it. major Bonnalfon. {Fred Dorner) Soft, clear, incurving yellow, full in the center; 6 to 7 inches in diameter, and nearly as deep. In perfect form and finish, like Ivory at its best. Habit dwarf; keeping qualities excellent. Foliage well up to the flower, stem stiff; an ideal variety. Bound to be one of the Chrysanthemums necessary to every collec- tion. Awarded Columbian medal. ( Exhibited under the name of Pearl, by Jtio. N. May). A very large bold incurved flower, of soft pink on opening, gradually changing to a pearl white; after the general style of Ed. Hatch, but with better stem and foliage ; height 3 feet. Time, November 20, best on crown buds. First premium. New York, for 'Best any Color.' Mutual Friend. A reflexed pure white, from seven to eleven inches in diameter, great depth, stiff' stems, heavy foliage within 6 inches of the flower; blooms a week later than Ivory; of medium height. {Smith.)
