Van Fleet, of Little Silver, N. J., who undoubtedly is the ablest authority on Gladioli of the day, has made a special study of Gladioli, having grown all the known species and varieties and raised thousands of seed- lings. Previous to putting a collection of named sorts on the market, he has placed at our disposal a large number of bulbs of the very finest quality. Seedlings produced by careful hybridization from such high-class species as Saundersi, Lemoinei, Nanceianus, Childsi, and the best Gandavensis. We positively guarantee that these Gladioli cannot be equalled by any other mixture. These Gladioli have new blood in them. They are healthy, strong, vigor- ous, and are ra'sed from seed. They combine all the known colors among Gladioli, even gray and bluish tints, pure whites, pure yellows, and other colors scarce among Gladioli. Spikes are large and well filled with flowers. Price, for large bulbs, sure to bloom, 3 for 12 cents; 7 for 25 cents; 15 for 50 cents; 40 for $1; 100 for $2.
