PYEONGTAEK, Republic of Korea (Sept. 28, 2017) Rear Adm. Brad Cooper, commander, Naval Forces Korea (CNFK) stands during the 69th annual ROK Armed Forces Day Ceremony. Armed Forces Day commemorates the service of men and women in the ROK armed forces, the day that South Korea broke through the 38th parallel during the Korean War in 1950. Cooper is also presented the Presidential Unit Citation by ROK President Moon, Jae-in, this is the first time a Navy command is presented this award since the end of the Korean War.
