The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, speaks to Marines at Marine Corps Forces Reserve, New Orleans, La, Feb. 4, 2021. The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps conducted the visit to speak with the Marines about his priorities for the next 12 months and answer any questions they might have. Marine Forces Reserve organizes, mans, equips, trains, and sustains more than 40,000 Drilling Reserve Marines and some 60,000 Individual Ready Reserve Marines to support Theater Security Cooperation Exercises and Overseas Contingency Operation requirements.
