Shield (Fig. 3b) longer than broad, with few short transverse spinulose ridges and long setae on dorsal surface; rostrum obsolete or broadly rounded. Dorsal margins of branchiostegites with 5-8 small spines. Ocular peduncles short and moderately stout; overreached by both antennular and antennal peduncles. Ocular acicles broad, with 1-3 strong spines and several minute spinules on terminal margin, not extending entire length. Intercalary rostriform process slender, reaching beyond proximal half of acicle but not beyond tip of inner-most acicular peduncles slightly.
