Their prayers, theirsympathies, their generous aid survived the changes of timeand condition and constituted to the last a rich treasuryfrom which the Church drew supplies of comfort, en-couragement and cheer. Their end was peace; death had noterrors for them ; having faithfully and cheerfully borne theburden and heat of the day, they calmly passed over theflood, folded to the bosom of that Saviour whom they lovedand in whom they trusted.
